More information about PECOS updates

CMS posts the Ordering & Referring PECOS enrollment information in a spreadsheet file on their website. The file is generally updated on Fridays, and the oandp.com PECOS search results will typically reflect those changes by sometime the following Monday. However, updates by CMS have become more sporadic, so while we do our best to keep our data up to date, there are times when our search may be out of date by a week or more.

If the physician you are looking for is listed in that data but NOT reflected on oandp.com, then you may need to wait a few days or so until the oandp.com search is updated. If the physician is NOT shown in that file, then you will need to contact CMS for further information.
