Fillauer now offers the DuraShock Pylon as part of its high-quality orthotic and prosthetic components line.

The DuraShock Pylon is a new development and offers several significant improvements over previous designs.

The main benefit of the DuraShock Pylon is that it simulates the rotation and shock absorption of the natural limb during stance phase. All lower limb amputees benefit from shock/rotation reduction, especially transfemoral users, who require greater motion damping at heel strike since the knee and ankle are not present. Beneficial for everyday use, shock/torsion reduction is most noticeable during activities such as gardening, hiking, tennis, or golf.
