New OA Orthosis Solution

Anatomical Concepts Inc. announces the V-VAS^TM (Varum-Valgum Adjustable Stress), a new adjustable orthosis which provides custom offloading of the knee for osteoarthritis patients. The V-VAS also has been successful in the treatment of non-operative tibial plateau fractures, failed hardware or reconstruction of the tibial plateau, tibial plateau and femoral condyle spacers, moderate to severe genu valgum deformities, and post-total knee arthroplasty.

The V-VAS is the first long axis off-loading, double upright custom knee orthosis that does not need to be removed to obtain the optimal offloading moment. The V-VAS maintains a non-binding mechanical function throughout the entire adjustment range by utilizing unique auto-aligning polycentric joints.
