BAHA: Better Performance for BP Prosthesis Wearers

Home > Product Showcases > BAHA: Better Performance for BP Prosthesis Wearers

The Biomechanically-Aligned Harness Anchor (BAHA), is a high-strength, lightweight, non-metallic component which improves the efficiency and biomechanical characteristics of the Figure Eight Harness.

Based on the Vertically-Arrayed Dual Ring (VADR) system designed by Randall Alley, CEO of biodesigns inc. (www.biodesigns.com), the BAHA opens the angle of the axilla loop, improving comfort over the standard Northwestern ring harness and possibly reducing the potential for nerve entrapment syndrome.

It lowers the attachment of the control cable, allowing it to operate along a pathway that significantly improves the mechanical advantage of the entire Figure Eight Harness system.

The BAHA is available exclusively through TRS Inc.
