New Valves Avoid Cross-Threading

Otto Bock unveiled two new auto expulsion valves that offer unique alternatives to existing threaded valve systems. The 21Y14 Push Valve and 21Y15 MagValve solve the problem of expulsion valves that get cross-threaded and become difficult to use. Patients with limited hand mobility will appreciate the Push Valves simple design. It uses levers to hold the valve cap in place. The MagValve features a lower-profile design and uses magnetized components to secure the cap.
