The BRAE Orthosis is designed for the management of forearm rotation contractures using a static progressive stretching protocol. It is useful for treatment of forearm contractures resulting from upper-extremity fractures and injuries. Forearm rotation is adjusted through a dual offset channel with a patented overlapping adjustable rotation component.

Benefits include:

  • Maintains post-surgical forearm rotation positioning.
  • Decreases substitution that can result from misalignment of the mechanical to anatomical axis for forearm rotation.
  • Maintains static progression of infinite positions in supination and pronation.
  • Controls forearm rotation position while allowing free motion in the sagittal plane.
