Becker Oregon Offers the BRAE Orthosis
April 01, 2008

The BRAE Orthosis is designed for the management of forearm rotation contractures using a static progressive stretching protocol. The orthosis is useful for treatment of forearm contractures as a result of upper-extremity fractures and injuries. Forearm rotation is adjusted by a dual-offset channel with a patented, overlapping rotation component.
Benefits of the BRAE Orthosis include:
- Maintains post-surgical forearm rotation positioning.
- Decreases substitution that can result from misalignment of the mechanical-to-anatomical axis for forearm rotation.
- Maintains static progression of infinite positions in supination and pronation.
- Controls forearm rotation position while allowing free motion in the sagittal plane.
