The split-toe footplate acts like a natural spring, making these AFOs ideal for hallux amputations. With height-adjustable anterior shells and trimmable footplates, they feature an open calcaneal design and a lateral strut anterior to the malleolus.

The Matrix ST is indicated for low-activity patients with simple, unilateral drop foot, while the Matrix Max ST accommodates low- to high-activity patients with unilateral or bilateral drop foot.
