The new ProSeal System creates a proximal seal between the socket and liner, and is suitable for suction sockets for transfemoral amputees. The system consists of the 452A1 ProSeal Ring, an uncovered liner, and the 21Y14 PushValve auto-expulsion valve. The ProSeal Ring maximizes the surface area and enhances the vacuum effect on the entire residual limb-not just the distal end.
