The Downhill Racer was developed over three years of design and testing that focused on providing hand-absent skiers with improved two-handed performance.
   Features and benefits include:

• Snap-in and pop-out pole action for safety and convenience, in right- and left-hand models
• Preflexed pole angle
• Solid, flexible, high-performance polyurethane construction
• Fits 5/8 in. (about 1.6cm) diameter poles, and is modifiable to other diameters
• Applicable for Nordic poles and hiking sticks too
• Multiple flexibilities are available to meet specific age, weight, and performance criteria for custom tuning to the user
