It offers both superior comfort and durability while also accommodating for volume fluctuations over the life of the prosthesis. The ALPS Skin Reliever provides superior elongation for very little compression against the skin, reducing shearing and abrasion. There is no need to make a new socket for this product, as the ALPS Skin Reliever can be worn under silicone and gel.
