Brent Wright, CP, BOCO, and Jim Glover, RTO, of Beacon Prosthetics and Orthotics, Raleigh, North Carolina, document their journey to Hospital Shalom in the Peten Region of Guatemala. With contributions from Samaritans Purse and other private companies, Wright and Glover show the construction of the prosthetic lab at Hospital Shalom, document how they fabricate a prosthesis, and share the stories of Pedro, Jose, and Evelyn, who were among the first recipients of prostheses at Hospital Shalom.
