Currier Coupling Plus Enables Clutch Lock Use

The Currier Coupling Plus is a laminated four-hole European-style socket attachment block. It is designed with a center opening, so that a four-hole clutch lock can be used.

A vacuum-formable urethane is used instead of foam or wood as the connection material. When you place the Currier Coupling Plus on the mold and apply vacuum, the urethane conforms to the cast, eliminating the need for any filling or blending.

Another nice feature is that a groove has been milled on the coupling itself, so that when your PVA is in place and secured with the provided o-ring, the need to cap your inside bag is eliminated. The coupling also has milled standoffs, which dictate even laminates. When it is used with the finish plate that is provided, sanding on the distal end is kept at a minimum. The Currier Coupling Plus is easy to use and saves time and money.

More Amputees Can Now Use Otto Bock C-Leg® Knee-Shin System

In an ongoing effort to ensure the revolutionary C-Leg® microprocessor-controlled knee can be utilized by as many amputees as possible, Otto Bock Health Care has approved the Lo Rider carbon fiber prosthetic foot for use with the C-Leg. The extremely lightweight and highly responsive Lo Rider foot only needs 1 1/8" (29mm) of clearance. By combining the C-Leg, the 2R90=110 pylon and the Lo Rider foot, only 13.75" of distance is needed from knee center to the floor.
