The BRAE Orthosis is designed for the management of forearm rotation contractures using a static progressive stretching protocol. The orthosis is useful for treatment of forearm contractures as a result of upper-extremity fractures and injuries. Forearm rotation is adjusted by means of a dual offset channel with a patented overlapping adjustable rotation component.

Knee Pyramid Adapter Provides More Silhouette Fitting Options

SPS introduces the Knee Pyramid Adapter (P/N AC-195), which provides compatibility between all prosthetic knees that accept a 30mm pylon and the Silhouette^TM prosthetic foot, manufactured by Freedom Innovations.

Providing greater fitting options for the Silhouette foot, the AC-195 knee pyramid adapter is to be used exclusively for the fitting of lower extremity prostheses. The adapter has a weight limit of 300 lb. and has a product warranty of 24 months when used according to the specified condition and intended purpose, following all manufacturers recommendations. The products are tested according to ISO 10328 recommendations.

Fitting Solutions with Versa Clamp

VersaClamp^TM, distributed exclusively in the US by SPS, provides two fitting solutions for the Silhouette^TM, manufactured by Freedom Innovations.

The extended 34mm tube clamp can be paired with pre-cut spacer rings for an easy fix when the pylon of the Silhouette has been cut too short. Simply insert the 1/8- in. 1/4- in., or 3/8-in. rings, or any combination of the three, into the clamp, and you will be able to build pylon to the correct height.

Versa Clamp also allows Silhouette to be utilized with pin locking systems. The extra length of Versa Clamp provides 3/4 in. to accommodate the length of the pin.
